Contact Information
There are various ways to get in touch with the KDE PIM team. For development questions, the best place is the kde-pim mailing list. That's the right place if you are having trouble compiling KDE PIM, or want to develop some software of your own based on the KDE PIM libraries, or want to contribute patches, documentation, or something else. Note that some applications, like KMail, have their own dedicated email lists. Developers also hang out on IRC.
For user questions, the right place is either the mailing list, (for questions related to using the applications, understanding the available options, etc.) or the support list for your particular distribution of the KDE PIM tools.
Thank you !
Report bugs and wishes
You want to report a bug to the KDE team? You have a special feature request for a KDE application? So don't hesitate to inform the KDE team about the bugs and wishes you found. The right place for bugs and wishes is the KDE website bugs.kde.org, but before reporting a bug or wish, please note the following explanations of the KDE Bug Tracking System.
Before a bug or wish is being reported twice, please make sure to search the database of bugs.kde.org for similar bugs and wishes to yours. On the one hand, we have a query form on the Bug Tracking System which allows a very detailed search including product name, component, version number, status and severity of bug, install source, operating system and so on. On the other hand, bugs.kde.org offers a more simple search form, the Bugzilla QuickSearch
Reporting a bug or wish is pretty easy. The KDE Bug Tracking System offers a wizard that will guide you through the process of submitting a bug report or a wishlist item to the KDE team. We have taken all possible effort to keep the wizard as easy as possible, but we do need some information of you in order to be able to reproduce and fix your problem - so please make sure you create an account on bugs.kde.org
Creating a new account on bugs.kde.org is
as easy as using the Bugzilla wizard itself - you just have to enter your name and e-mail address and that's
it.
Feel free to send a mail to the webmaster, Mikal Villa if you find any bugs. You can also post it to kde-pim@kde.org

Contact via IRC
Most of the developers hang around in one development IRC channel or another. On freenode (irc. kde.org), you can find:
- #kontact for development discussion on Kontact, KOrganizer, and KAddressBook. Please don't post user-questions there.
There are a variety of IRC (Chat) programs available. KDE ships with Konversation and KSirc. XChat is available in many installations as well.
